Proclivity Studios Request alpha access

Terms of Service

Exodus Unchained is operated by Proclivity Studios Solutions Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

This is a closed alpha. These terms are written plainly and honestly by the development team
and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They will be reviewed before the game takes money or
opens to the public. Nothing here is legal advice.

1. The game is unfinished, and it will break

This is pre-release software offered for testing. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Features will change or disappear. Your characters, items, progress and the world itself may be reset, altered or deleted at any time, with or without notice, including permanently.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Your account

permission.

under your account.

3. How to behave

The game has chat and other players in it. Do not:

We may suspend or remove an account for breaking these rules. In a closed alpha we will usually just talk to you first, but we do not have to.

4. What is yours and what is ours

The game, its code, art, audio, characters and world are ours or our licensors'. You may make and share screenshots, video and streams of your own play, including monetised video, provided you do not claim the game is yours and do not use our branding to imply we endorse you.

Anything you type into public chat or submit as feedback may be quoted, and may be used to improve the game. Do not send us anything you are not free to share.

5. Items in the game are not property and have no cash value

Characters, currency, items and progress exist only inside the game. They are licensed to you for play, not sold. They cannot be exchanged for money and have no monetary value. Selling or trading accounts or items for real money outside the game is not permitted.

6. Talking to the residents

Some characters answer in their own words rather than from a script, using an AI service. What you type to them is sent to a third party and may be processed outside Australia. What is sent, what is not, and how to avoid it entirely are set out in the Data and Privacy Notice, which you are asked to accept alongside these terms.

Their replies are generated. They are not advice, they are not statements by us, and they may be wrong. Do not rely on anything a character says outside the fiction of the game.

7. Ending it

You may stop and delete your account at any time โ€” ask at support@exodusunchained.com. We may end or suspend the alpha, or your access to it, at any time. If we do, you lose access to the game and everything in it, and โ€” because nothing in the game has monetary value โ€” no refund is owed.

8. Changes

We will change these terms as the game changes. When we do, you will be asked to agree again before you next play, and the previous version stops applying from that moment. If you do not agree, you can stop playing and ask us to delete your account.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
